Multi-unit design in Ascot
The Site:
The clients owned two adjoining blocks in Ascot, which they liked as an up-and-coming suburb close to the city. Together, the blocks totalled 1771sqm.
The Challenge:
The total area of the land fell just short of the 1800sqm typically required for four units under the R20 zoning. After helping the clients complete the State Planning process to officially amalgamate the two blocks, Developments by Dale Alcock then helped them apply to the City of Belmont for a 5% variance in order to achieve four homes on their newly combined site. In doing so, the clients were able to unlock the full potential of the land they owned.
Not only were the clients first-time developers, but as busy doctors they were also time poor. They wanted to work with a builder that could provide an end-to-end project management solution. After connecting with Senior Development Expert Liz Allen-Fisher, the clients chose to work with Developments by Dale Alcock knowing our team has an excellent reputation and could look after their project from start to finish.
