Grouped Housing – Sugargum Rise, Kiara

Project Overview

The Dale Alcock Projects team were invited by Department of Communities (DOC) to tender on their demonstration home in Kiara which was to be built from timber and be 7-star Nathers rated. Successful in the tender process the DAP team took over the documentation of the home and are were on site by July 2020.

Upon completion, the home was used by DOC to demonstrate the benefits and energy efficiency of light weight construction to the industry and the wider market. The internal DOC design includes 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with generously proportioned open plan living. The home was accredited LHA Silver upon completion providing flexibility to the eventual owners/residents.
