Design is the most important aspect of building a functional home. Many builders, you’ll be surprised to know, do not have their own in-house design team. But we do. And this difference will quickly become apparent when you walk through our display homes, each of which is based around four key design areas; entertainment, flexibility, organisation and relaxation.

Below are some of the other design factors we consider in order to make your home the very best it can be.

Every 100mm makes a difference

Room proportion is critical; it’s what makes your home feel ‘right’. We pay a great deal of attention to this. For example, we avoid using 620mm doors because they feel uncomfortable and cramped. We prefer to use 820mm doors. Our living areas are almost always at least 8 metres long. And our corridors are always that little bit wider. It’s little things like this that make a very big difference to your home.

Our standard specification is second to none

Unlike other builders, there’s no need to upgrade items with us. High ceilings to the living areas, for example, come as standard in all our homes. That’s because we regard this as an important design element that adds light and space. And it’s because we continually listen to exactly what our customers want.
