Childcare Centre – Baldivis (Greenleaves)

Project Overview

Green Leaves Early Learning Centre is a 2-storey, 100 place childcare centre located at Lot 148 Nairn Drive, Baldivis. The centre was constructed using a steel framing system and incorporates state-of-the-art facilities that cater to children and parents alike.

Following a competitive tender process, Dale Alcock Projects (DAP) was engaged through a Design & Construct agreement by Developer, Stockland, to value engineer, document the design and construct the project. The DAP team are responsible for the complete build-out of the childcare centre including all the landscaping, hardscaping and car parking.

Project Challenges

The scale of the project, coupled with its location on a narrow site in a congested location, increased the complexity of its delivery. Regardless, our project team successfully navigated these challenges to deliver a product that will add to Stockland and Green Leaves growing portfolio and enhance the educational experience of young children in the early stages of life.

Project Highlights

Dale Alcock Projects won this project through a select tender process by demonstrating a competitive price, strong quality control & safety mechanisms and expertise in this space. We worked closely with Stockland, Bridge42, Raunik & Green Leaves to value engineer elements of the design, document the project and bring it out of the ground.

This project continues to build upon the longstanding relationship DAP has with Stockland, having previously completed Busy Bees Childcare Centre, The Terraces, Visage & the Completed Homes Range. This is also our second childcare centre with national operator, Green Leaves, and our 6th childcare completed in 3 years.

The two-storey centre reached practical completion in August 2022.
