Apartment Project overview
This low-rise medium density development of 15 townhouses and 5 apartments is a great example of an ‘alternative to high-rise apartments’. Situated in the thriving City of Canning, Mode represents the new breed of development designed to bridge the housing gap be offering affordable, well-located, low-rise homes that will have huge appeal to a range of buyers, including families.
The project was secured through a competitive tender and ran a value engineering exercise to meet the client’s target price.
Challenges overcome
During construction, a change of scope to a number of our contracts and suppliers was required as the client requested changing two of the apartments to SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) accommodation. The collaboration between our Contract Administrator and suppliers delivered a successful outcome.
